Basic Function:
The basic function of Assistant Logistics Officer is provision of support to Assistant Manager Logistics and Manager Logistics in implementing ex-plant product placement plans and strategies. Manage relationship with interfaces related to ex-plant logistics (e.g. PR, Trucking contractors, PM&S, Commercial and others). Responsibilities of Assistant Logistics Officer are rotated to give them an in depth understanding of the logistics function.
Job Responsibilities:
HSE
- Comply with HSE policy and practices followed by EFERT.
- Achieve goals mentioned in System Governance document.
- Ensure MSA observations closure in OPERA within the given deadline.
- Maintain record for incident / observation pertains to Logistics and share analysis on Monthly basis and devise a mechanism to reduce repeat incidents at the Plant / TMY.
Operational:
- Ensure Urea Shipment as per Zonal / Regional Allocation
- Detailing of orders to truckers.
- Order completion as per available truck size.
- Flexible shifts / night shift coverage
- Backup for other Assistant logistics Officers
- Follow up with the truckers.
- Maintaining DPR details related reports.
- Dispatching daily shipment summary to HO and DD.
- Trucker Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Filing and record keeping including Trucker BG and Contracts
- Monthly reconciliation of shipment numbers.
- Developing and dispatching rail demand to concerned interfaces.
- Handling rail loading related documents.
- Office utilities bill processing, as per procedure.
- Support in implementing the shipment strategy.
- Preparing accruals on quarterly basis.
- Monitoring aging of pending orders.
- Complaint handling of regions and truckers.
- Soliciting WH plans from regions and logging of STOs in SAP against PRs provided by Zones.
- Ensure timely order and deliver of Stationery, including PSAs and Iqrar Namas.
- Liaison with Zarkhez Plant, Bio Nova Plant, ZU-MpM Plan, PM&S, Zonal & Regional offices
- Direct supervision of the SD Office / Assistants
