About the position

About the role:
This position will fulfil the requirements of assisting the Head of Fixed Line in product and revenue ownership.
Your Impactful Goals will include:
- Ensuring that the company’s product can deliver on the customer’s requirements.
- Ensuring Profit and Loss of the products.
- Develop plans to enhance current product scope and devising strategy for achievement of targets.
- Devise new ideas and launch new products effectively.
- Effective product management of existing products not just limited to product ownership but also product target ownership.
Your Typical Day of work:
- Working closely with the sales team on proposals and pitches for business.
- Attending meetings with business account managers and acting as a technical expert.
- Putting together business cases for the sales teams to support their proposals.
- Working closely and collaboratively with customers to devise effective solutions.
- Working closely with customers to understand and capture requirements.
- Replying to customers following requests for information and proposal requests.
- Presenting proposals to customers alongside members of the sales team.
- Providing ongoing support for customers post implementation.
- Producing detailed costings for customers and ensuring the contract is profitable.
- Work closely with Sales and Planning teams to formulate and enhance processes which would make customer journey easy and enhance value chain.
What we are looking for?
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics/Telecommunication
Experience:
- More than 6 years of Fixed Line and customized solutions experience
- Technical and Commercial Knowledge of Fixed Line business and product streams DIA/DPLC/MPLS/GMPLS/IPLC/BRI/PRI/SIP/G-PON/E-PON along-with technical knowledge of BGP/IP routing/CDNs, Cloud (SaaS/IaaS/VDC/VPS) and Co-location.

- Should be able to manage and motivate a team
- Should be able to handle work load effectively and efficiently
- Should be able to work under pressure to troubleshoot within SLA time
- Should be innovative, having analytical mind set and solution finding approach
- Should be able to analyze, select and recommend solutions to complex situations
- Must be positive with a can-do attitude, a quick learner, an effective communicator and a self-starter who take creative approaches to solve challenging problems and meet tight deadlines
- Knowledge of Optical Fibre Cable system
- Ability to work independently under demanding situations
