Position: Deputy Manager LC & Documentation
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in commodity trading, specializing in fertilizers, petrochemicals, and polymers.
- Strong grasp of international trade regulations and LC mechanics.
- Proven track record in managing LC transactions and trade documentation.
- Familiarity with global banking practices and trade finance software.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Analytical mindset with a focus on risk identification and mitigation.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, international trade, or related field; Master's degree is a plus.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages will be an added advantage
Overall Responsibilities:
- Review, analyze, and manage incoming LCs, ensuring adherence to terms and conditions.
- Collaborate with trading teams to address discrepancies and negotiate LC amendments.
- Coordinate with banks and financial institutions for efficient LC processing.
- Ensure accurate preparation and verification of trade documents in compliance with regulations.
- Identify and mitigate operational risks associated with LC and documentation processes.
- Facilitate seamless transactions by collaborating with internal and external parties.
- Continuously enhance processes and propose automation solutions for increased efficiency.
