Educational/ Professional Qualification
Minimum Master's in Business Administration / Banking and / or Finance / Economics from a local or international university / college / institute recognized by the HEC.
Experience
• Minimum 22 years of experience with a bank and/or in financial sector with at least:
• 05 years as Head of Corporate and/or Investment and/or Wholesale banking.
OR
• 08 years in a senior leadership role in Corporate and/or Investment and/or Wholesale Banking not below as one down of Corporate/Investment/WholesaIe Banking Head.
• Proven leadership qualities with ability to lead a group of Corporate and Investment Banking professionals for delivery of quality and profitable business for the Bank.
• Experience of working closely with the senior management on all Corporate and Investment Banking business transactions and issues.
• Ability and experience of dealings and negotiations with senior management of medium and large corporate and multinational customers.
• Expertise and comprehensive knowledge of Transaction Structuring to meet corporate customer financing needs.
• Ability and experience of dealing with Banks' senior management; and working with the Board and the Board Committees.
• Expertise of providing leadership to teams of skilled and expert professionals for achieving business targets and Bank's strategic objectives.
• Fully conversant with business, market trends and business dynamics.
• Experience of senior level dealings with SBP and other Regulatory authorities and departments.
• Ability and expertise to develop business plans and strategic direction for the Bank's Corporate & Investment Banking Group.
• Strong leadership quality and excellent interpersonal skills; people management, communication and networking.
Other Skills / Expertise / Knowledge Required
• Command over Banking Regulatory framework and in-depth understanding of all SBP prudential and other relevant regulations.
• Excellent knowledge of products and services offered to Corporate & Investment Banking customers.
• Experience and command over credit, market and operational risk issues.
• Sound understanding of Banking policies, regulations and operational framework.
• Comprehensive knowledge and experience of debt restructuring strategies for distressed assets.
Outline of Main Duties / Responsibilities
• Responsible to manage the Corporate & Investment Banking Group of the Bank ensuring delivery of quality business in Trade, Investment, Cash Management and Corporate Banking areas.
• Collaborate with other business and support functions of the Bank for structuring and delivery of Asset & Liability products, Treasury, Market Sales (FX), and other lines of business to the customer.
• Review credit proposals generated from all Regional Corporate Centers and ensure quality assurance over certain thresholds or non-compliant with risk appetite before submission to Risk approval chain.
• Ensure credit risk framework and associated metrics are agreed during annual budgeting and planning with CRO.
• Ensure management of asset book building, deposit mobilization, cross selling including FX, trade finance, cash management, etc.
• Keep abreast of financial market developments, including new trends in growth and management; strategic financing planning techniques; rationalizing and making efficient provisioning of financial services to corporate clients.
• Close monitoring and follow-up of the infected portfolio; ensure timely actions and recovery efforts.
• Work closely with Bank's Assets Retrieval Group / SAM for restructuring of the non-performing portfolio.
• Present business updates to Credit Risk Committees, ALCO and the Board as and when required.
• Facilitate learning and skills development of the Corporate & Investment Baking staff in co-ordination with the Learnin & Develo ment Division of the Bank.
• Plan strategies in discussion with Bank's IT and Operations teams to develop technology imperative and tools for increased efficiency in transaction processing and deal structuring.
• Ensure compliance of Banking laws, Regulations, Bank's instructions and procedures, maintenance of files and other records, rectification of Audit irregularities and their non- recurrence.
• Serve on various planning and policy making committees of the Bank.
• Ensure timely submission of information by CIBG as needed by the Auditors and SBP.
• Assist and provide inputs in developing Bank's Credit and also the Risk Management Policies.
• Assess and implement in discussions with Bank's HR Group, appropriate staff training programs for skills development and expertise, for performance excellence and quality business delivery as well as for keeping ahead of corporate business risk challenges.
• Perform other responsibilities assigned by the competent authority from time to time.

Only shortlisted candidates strictly meeting the above-mentioned basic eligibility criteria will be invited for panel interview(s).
Employment Type
The employment will be on contractual basis for three years which may be renewed on discretion of the Management. Selected candidates will be offered compensation package and other benefits as per Bank's Policy / rules.
